Should I buy new furniture? I am leaving in three years but all of my furniture is really beat up and falling apart. Is it worth the money and time?

This is what IKEA -type furniture is ideal for. It is inexpensive and built to last for about 3 years.

It will give you something reasonably nice looking and fully functional that you won’t mind leaving behind you after 3 years.

There are companies other than IKEA who also make and sell budget-priced RTA (Ready to Assemble) furniture. I just mention them because they are the best known in this category.
